Feature Requests

In meeting with Newton County Schools this morning, they were excited that there will be a Spanish version of the screener soon! However, they would like to be able to enable this at the Student Profile level for those that need it, rather than making it available for all students (they could envision students clicking on Español as a way to "get out of" taking a test as it's speaking a different language - just an example). Only 10-12% of their population might require the Spanish accommodation so it would make more sense to them if this was automatically disabled for all students, then turned on as needed by teachers.

There may be a student that is below grade level for only one subject.

Tracer Gramm from Dougherty has requested the ability to search ILPs by utilizing a "less than or equal to" search filter. "I'm interested in being able to sort our schools' data using a 'less than or equal to' sign to determine e.g. how many students in fifth grade have completed any work. Currently, we're having to use the 'less than 100' option, then go back and use the 'equal to 100', then add those two numbers together, to determine how many students have completed work within a grade-level (when a 'less than or equal to' option would be much more efficient). Some of the pictures that are alongside the text do not relate to the text. Students tend use pictures to associate meaning with what they are reading. Especially students below grade level or second language learners. The pictures that do not relate or "go with" the text could be very confusing for students. Some examples are attached.

A teacher, Math Coordinator at Gwinnett, requested that it would be helpful to add a column in the All Skills tab to help when searching for additional units to assign. She is experiencing the ILP bug, so when added own content based on US Individual Learning Report, it would make that process much easier (even if it wasn't due to a bug, that would allow for an overall easier search.)

Madison City requested that in Custom Instruction there be more basic icons for kindergarten to recognize. They need icons like a cow, heart, dog, cow, cat, house, etc to help students know which lesson to choose. (they said kids do not recognize the glue bottle as they now use glue sticks and the other icons are too difficult for them to recognize.

Feedback regarding using the information for writing IEPs and guiding instruction. The categories that you see with progress monitoring and benchmark should be the same. For example, with ELA progress monitoring for ELA, you see 5 areas, but on the benchmark, you only see word analysis, reading, and grammar, usage and mechanics. So that I get more specific information, I would like to see the actual questions they correctly answered or missed. Paula Harris from Conway Public Schools would like a simple report that would give a grade level score for each student in regards to Independent Reading Level, with an explanation of what that score translates to mean for the parents . Screenshot attached of what they currently do now.

The customer is making a request for ILP's and how the skills are grouped. Requesting that ILP's generated from Scantron could be grouped by skill level. For example, when they click on an area there are skills ranging from second grade level to eighth grade level. It would be helpful to them if the ILP skills would progress by difficulty. They have many students working through ILPs that they are having to go in and turn off the higher level stuff until they complete their lower level skills. Teacher Suggestion: When the assignments/activities are loaded that they load in order......right now I have to look at each standard because students may begin working on an assignment at a grade level above, but then the next assignment in line may be 2 grade levels below.....Hope this makes sense :)
