Pin or Keyword for students to access US

We've had many teachers/admins make comments about students taking the US repeatedly - - student initiated, not teacher and I know we've talked about options -- A Robeson teacher shared today that for other tests they have a pin or 4 digit code that a staff member has to enter for the student to be able to access the test.

We have tried this in the past and overall the response was very negative. That being said, the US lived in the Classes tab then so things are very different now. I think there is a much better user experience if students can just log in and take the test. Maybe the pin is in place just for the retakes? I don't know if this is possible.
