Additional filter to the Individualized Learning Tab

Would it be difficult to add one more filter to the Individualized Learning Tab? The filer I have in mind would only be active for someone with district admin rights. The choice would be all schools. I know we have the data export, and we continue to encourage that functionality, but I still hear from districts that they would like a report very much like the "selected student" option but not run it school by school.

What I feel like I am hearing is more of a need for a district level report(s) that is not the data export. A new filter view that would display an enormous number of students at a time is not really the end result but rather a way to see results of all schools from a district in one report. The report would definitely need to show data by school. Is that more of the information you hear the districts are looking for?

Yes, if I am a district person I need to be able to see progress per campus.

Debra Synatschk: Yes, I wanted this in the initial design. Development is extremely worried about performance issues.

I also would like to see this functionality. Many times districts have certain initiatives for entire grades across the district. They have examined their state testing data and find that an entire grade is performing poorly in a certain domain and would like to track that performance in Classworks across the district rather than by school.

This would be very beneficial to the district level admin so they don't have to receive a separate report for each school. This feature would be an excellent aid in the monitoring of data for a district.

Hi Debra,
When we did the initial design, we considered this functionality. We removed the feature due to a worry of the functionality not being performant.
We struggle with how meaningful the reports would be with thousands of pages not grouped by schools when looking at data across schools.
Can you provide a how the districts would use the All Schools and why?
Thanks!

Jerry, Sorry for the delay as I just saw your reply. I envision a district person running this by grade at the school or group the grades. For example, I could see the skill summary for all K-5 students at one school or else run it where I can see the 3rd grade for each school on one page, 4th grade for each school, etc. District/Curriculum people look at the big picture and while the export does provide important data, I continue to hear from districts that they like the Skills Summary report but they need it to be by schools.
